Celebration of Cambodia Re’s 20th Anniversary of Partnership

On December 5, 2022, Cambodia Re celebrated 20-year anniversary of partnership at Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra Hotel. This very special ceremony was presided over by H.E. Ros Seilava, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, Chairman of Cambodia Re’s Board of Directors, and H.E. Bou Chanphirou, Director General of the Insurance Regulator of Cambodia.

The ceremony commemorated not only the milestone and business partnership of Cambodia Re, but also the historical evolvement of Cambodia’s insurance industry over the past two decades presented by H.E. Bou Chanphiru. This special anniversary celebration welcomed 250 guests including most of top and senior executives from the insurance industry, the regulator and stakeholders as well as Cambodia Re’s board of directors, past CEOs, and employees. Token of appreciations were presented to all insurance companies for support and trust on our business partnership in the past, now, and in the future.

The night of gala dinner also featured Cambodia Re’s social responsibility by donating the total amount of KHR 120 million to two charities – Kuntha Bopha Foundation and Cambodian Mine Action and Victim Assistance Authority. Together with special performance and live music, the celebration gave all participants the opportunities to recollect year gone memories and cherish them that night making the anniversary more memorable.
